"Visit to A&E and admission to Will Adams ward"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Accident and emergency

My wife had a fall earlier in the month of April. She had an x-ray and it was found that there were no breaks or fractures. The hip looked out of place but this was put down to the swelling. However, the pain was still extremely bad. When the swelling had gone down I Noticed her hip was moving out when weight was put on it. On Wednesday 1st May We went back to A&E and as usual the attention and professionalism was fantastic. Great doctor and caring staff. Tests were done and she was admitted to Will Adams ward on the 2nd. While on the ward the professionalism and care given by the staff was to the usual high standards. Please thank all of the doctors and staff for their efforts. They deserve due praise for all of their hard work.

Thank you for your feedback, it's lovely to hear that you and your wife were happy with the care provided to you by the Emergency Department and Will Adams ward teams.

We hope your wife is recovering from her fall and on the way to recovering.

Kindest regards,

The Patient Experience Team
