About: Clock Tower Surgery

I was homeless when first referred to the surgery in 2003. I suffer with mental issues and diagnosed with a personality disorder. I was supposed to change to a mainstream surgery once I was housed. This was a problem for me as the Clocktower Surgery is primarily for the homeless and as such has a walk-in surgery. I was also accessing the mental health team and was worried I would lose that. Using a mainstream surgery meant making appointments and my illness almost always means I am unable to keep an appointment. I discussed my concerns with the G. P. and was told I could continue using the surgery. As for the surgery the G.Ps, nurses, mental health team and office staff I have met have been no less than 100% efficient. I feel very lucky and humbled that I am still able to access this service. After 16 years I feel I am very qualified to comment on what I feel is the best service I have ever used.
