I came in on Saturday with a broken ankle as I fell down my stairs, the staff on that part were helpful and helped the process quickly . Once I got onto the ward they were helpful at first but then when it came to night time that's when my problem started once my partner left I informed the nurse that I needed the toilet and due to not being able to walk I couldn't take my self they said we will be with you shortly I informed my partner and he was going to ring and complain but didn't luckily. 1 hour passed and I was nearly going to wee myself when they arrived they wasn't bothered that I was desperate and stated there is other patience. There was only 1 nurse in the ward rushing around.
The next day when it came to meal time there was a person next to me who couldn't feed themselves and struggled to move. Staff put the food on the bed table and walked away to do other things we felt bad for this patient because the food was going cold. My partner hated the service I received and wishes we never went there.
