"Diabetic ante-natal care"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Obstetrics (Maternity care)

(as the patient),

Throughout my pregnancy I felt so well supported by the team at the ante-natal clinic. Every member of staff was always friendly and welcoming. I find managing my diabetes when pregnant stressful, especially in the early stages. However the staff fully supported and reassured me while making me feel like I was part of the ‘team’.

In particular, Dr Watson, Dr Shearer and Dr Jan were incredible throughout my pregnancy and post-natally when things were especially challenging. Thanks for helping to bring my baby into the world safely!

Dear Diabeticmumof2

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, I'm delighted to hear you felt so well cared for during your pregnancy and after the birth of your baby. It's important that you were welcomed and the team were friendly, as I'm sure this supported you during those challenging times. The team will be delighted to receive your feedback as they work very hard to deliver the care you described. I will make sure I share your feedback with Dr's Watson, Shearer and Jan.

Thank you for providing this feedback during what I'm sure is a busy time for you.

Wishing you and your family lots of happiness for the future.

Jayne
