What I liked

I brought my elderly wife in to casualtiy with a serious viral infection on Bank Holiday Monday afterrnoon, She was seen within 15 minutes by a Triage nurse then quickly transferred to a seperate room for possible infectious cases. She was seen by two Doctors, a lady and a gentleman, who quickly diagnosed her condition. She was provided with medication immediately for an intense headache, blood tests were taken to confirm the diagnoseis and she was released for home care with appropriate medication a few hours later.

My wife is now recovering well some three days later and I am sure the outcome would have been very differnt without the intervention of the two doctors involved. Unfortunately, I did not get the doctors names, because I was too concerned about my wife's condition. However I cannot thank them and all of the staff concerned enough. Let's hope that this current government does not succeed in privatising / ruining this excellent service which we all depend upon.
