I’m sad to have to write this after 33 years of being at this surgery, however they have left me feeling like I do not matter and my problem is nothing. After not being allowed to have a same day appointment, I called 111 who said I required one urgently. 111 were very helpful and restored my faith that I did matter. He passed through my notes to the surgery and told me to call back for a same day appointment. I waited until 2pm when they were released, only to be number 21 in a queue. Bearing in mind it took 15 minutes when I was number 5 in the queue in the morning, I decided to do an e-consult. I was given a time frame of the next working day by 6:30pm. I have NOT had said call, so still left feeling like I do not matter. The receptionist was not empathetic at all even though I had explained that I am unable to work and finding day to day duties difficult, that and looking after two young children. If I could leave 0 stars I would. The surgery has gone down massively and unless you’re calling for the elderly or children, they DO NOT CARE. I’m so upset. I now have to chase them to call me or go to a walk in which isn’t close and is a huge inconvenience for me and my family.
