My daughter spent most of the previous Friday in A&E and received excellent care. She was sent away with antibiotics but unfortunately suffered a mild allergic reaction to them on the Sunday evening. I accompanied her back to Charing Cross Hospital on Bank Holiday Monday, expecting an ordeal. I couldn't have been more wrong! Every single person we dealt with at the hospital was extremely kind, courteous and caring. My daughter was offered a wonderful meal whilst we waited and she was found a bed and admitted in less than 3 hours. During the wait time we had seen a triage nurse; A&E consultant; had bloods and blood pressure taken and saw an ENT consultant. Once admitted to her bed my daughter's excellent care continued with a lovely ward nurse and we were seen by another ENT consultant before I left. The whole process was fantastic and I couldn't fault anything - an excellent example of the NHS at it's very best.
"Excellent experience"
