"Lacking care quality"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham / General medicine

(as a parent/guardian),

The nurses on this ward seem to lack providing care required for each patient. My son was admitted for pneumonia and was taken to ward 513. The nurses, some but not all, have no manners and often don't attend the buzzer for at least 30 mins. Patients calling out for nurses but the nurses walking past paying no attention. If approached, the nurses say we are short staffed when they seem to be just sitting .

They are not on time giving medication, always an excuse. Looking after the care of patients that really slacks. Observation every 4 hours on ward are more like 12 hours late to be seen. If you ask them for help they I’m coming but never come.

Queen Elizabeth hospital Birmingham is lacking the care quality that patients require. I do not trust the Nhs or the care this hospital gives.
