Induced and c-section and breast feeding
I was over due by 10 days and was induced for two days, this was managed well but nobody really explained what would happen when gel was inserted.
Induction failed and I was given option to have c section, surgery staff very helpful. In theatre it was a blur with about three different people asking and telling me things at same time. Everyone was nice though and all went well.
Gave birth to healthy baby boy, we struggled with breast feeding and unfortunately it really wasnt looked at by anyone, he lost too much weight after we got home. It would be better to have a good day with a mid wife helping with feeding if you are struggling. It was very difficult having a c section to breast feed so it should be considered by the team.
Everyone was very nice though and I was looked after really well, my only issue really was feeding my baby and it should have been dealt with before I went home.
