Oct. 2014. Constant collapse due to pain in stomach. It was gall bladder with what ended up to be 7 massive stones. However, TWO years later it was finally removed. Since Oct. 2014 I was told by Aintree, "you can have barriatric surgery" after gall bladder.
Now, May 2019, four and one half years later, seems like they've moved the finished line, reject surgery under the "false" pre tense of binge eating, yet my BMI is 50. 3% and I believe I should be in the get the surgery lane. I think this happens to many other obese patients too. I was told my BMI needs to be 25% in order to have my breast reduction surgery, still waiting and going in a vicious circle.
Then in 2018 I was told a cyst needs to be removed from my back, GP sends me to Royal Liverpool, again GP wrote request wrong and told me to go private. It feels like battling with GP also over my botox shots for migraines due to my SEIDS. GP solution, give me a plethra of pain pills and not push my surgery. FIVE years soon, not acceptable. Seriously considering Legal action.
"Five years of delays"
