About: Tameside General Hospital / Gynaecology

For 10 years I have been suffering with symptoms of endometriosis, I have seen various doctors who all told me I have this and that and I didn't. I got a referral to Tameside gynecology department and that doctor is the only one who has ever listened to me and took me seriously. The nurses were fabulous, I got booked in for surgery within 6 weeks of my initial consultation. The Nurses answered any questions I had, i got letters promptly in the post, there were some occasions where the phone wasn't answered but I left a message and I got a call back within the day. I can't praise this department enough.
