"excellent , couldnt of been treated any better ..."

What I liked

I came in for a hip replacement in march 12 , from the time i arrived to the time i left i couldnt of been treated any better . the staff were all so kind and friendly at all times . The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the staff they work so hard and are very kind at all times , even the domestics were very jolly and friendly had a giggle with them most days so if your going into ella rowcroft ward for any reason you do not need to worry you will be fine . ;-)

What could be improved

The only thing i think i could of seen as a negative was the bed it was so uncomfatable , i was on one of the old non electric ones and found it almost impossible to get in and out of it . i noticed a lot of the patients were in electric beds so they were able to control the height etc when getting in and out , and also assisted them with sitting up , so i felt i could of been more independant if i could of adjusted it myself instead of pestering the very busy staff .

Anything else?

My surgeon was excellent from the start , always came on the ward every day to see how i was doing and kept me updated . well done all the staff on ella rowcroft ward , keep up the good work . !!!!!!!!
