"Supportive tailored care"

My son was referred by the local children's centre because we were worried about his speech development. 

The first Speech and Language Therapist we met was Veronica. These sessions were held with other a group of children and me and my partner found it really useful. Each week we we're taught skills that we can use at home with our children after gettin a practice time under her supervision. We came back a week later and discussed together as group how we got on, and what the strength and weaknesses of that particular approach. 

At the end of 5 weeks, Veronica further forwarded a referral to one her colleagues to see if my son would benefit from further tailored sessions. 

From the fist moment we met Speech and Language Therapist Anna she made us feel at ease and reassured us and with a collaborative effort from her and the family at home, my son has made leaps and bounds in pronunciation and forming sentences. 

We loved the practical tips centred around play and how we could use these opportunities to increase his confidence.
