"visit afte 111 call"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was travelling in London and became ill. Following a call with 111 I was told to go to Royal London Hospital ground floor. When I arrived the main reception had no idea where a 111 booking would be so I went to the next area and they said go to a and e. I queued there and they said they don't communicate with 111 but take a seat and they will deal with me. I found the reception staff not the most friendly but the nurse who I saw first and my lady doctor were excellent. I waited around 3 hours in the end.

I guess in summary it seems strange that the process I had to follow was not simpler but in the end I got the treatment I needed.
