About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

I visited Treliske A&E this morning (30th April 2019) following a cycling accident a week ago and was worried i had cracked my femur or pelvis. Despite the department being busy (the website indicated 50 patients were being treated within the department) i found every single person i interacted with was very pleasant and efficient. I hope the Receptionist, Triage Nurse, X-Ray receptionist, 2 x X-Ray technicians(?) and Dr who saw me all realise how appreciated they are for their professionalism and utterly pleasant and good natured manner. Thank you. If possible please forward my thanks to the department.

Despite having a busy department, I am pleased that we were able to address your needs and that we did so efficiently and professionally. We always try and treat people in a caring, compassionate and timely manner no matter how busy we are, and it is reassuring for me to know that we can achieve this. I will certainly pass on your feedback and thanks to my staff as well as those working in the x-ray department.

I hope you did not suffer a serious injury following your accident and that you are well on the way to recovery.
