(as a service user),

I was very happy with the love and care my husband received while in the care of the lovely nurses and staff.

As a family we appreciated it very much indeed. From the moment I entered the hospice that day with my husband I felt welcome and cared for.

Thank you for taking time to post the story of your husband's love and care at Kilbryde Hospice on Care Opinion. We are very grateful to you.

As Clinical Services Manager I recognise how hard the staff and volunteers work to deliver the best possible care. To hear this from someone who has experienced the care is greater recognition. The fact that you "felt a welcome" and "felt cared for" from the moment you entered Kilbryde makes me feel happy and fulfilled.

The Kilbryde team is a varied one and I will be sure to pass on your feedback to the entire team; staff and volunteers working in the Inpatient Unit and those working in the background to support the care. This story will be an enormous boost to them.

Once again thank you for posting your story. I sincerely hope that others in a similar situation might read your story and be reassured of the care at Kilbryde as a result.
