"A stressful experience as relaxed as possible"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Had Holep laser surgery (prostate) last week at this unit in Queen Margaret Hospital. Found the staff to be extremely caring and attentive.   This helped to make a stressful experience as relaxed as possible.   Was kept well informed throughout the process as was my wife who waited in the hospital while I was in theatre.   Toast and tea post-op on demand much appreciated! Many thanks to all staff in ward and theatre.

Many thanks for taking the time to comment on care opinion and your praise for Day Surgery. I am happy that it all went well for you. Having an operation is daunting at any time and I'm delighted that the staff were caring and attentive and helped you felt at ease. Tea and toast always tastes much better in the hospital. I will make sure that your very kind comments are passed on to all staff concerned who I'm sure will be delighted.
