"A breath of fresh air and a credit to the NHS"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Plastic surgery

(as a service user),

On Wednesday this week, dad urgently needed advice on post surgery issue.  We’re invited to come straight to the maxillofacial dept.  On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady on reception who said she knew we were coming.  Then dad was checked over by nurse, Fiona.  She was so helpful... as it turned out there was nothing to worry about but she was kind and had a good sense of humour.

Having been to Weston general that morning for myself where an indifferent nurse made me feel like a number, Fiona  was a breath of fresh air and a credit to the NHS.  In fact we always find Musgrove folk to be human and kind

Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience, at a time that can be quite distressing for patients and their relatives. It is a pleasure to read such kind comments about our staff, and I will ensure Fiona and the reception staff receive your feedback. They will be delighted to know they are making our difference to our patients.

I do hope your Dad is feeling much better now.

With best wishes,

Charmaine
