I am so lucky to have experienced having a wonderful midwife, (Rosie) she is really good at her job, she is thorough and and on the ball. Me being a high risk pregnancy with twins, I was well looked after from start to finish! Rosie is great at listening to her patients and taking there views and worries into consideration. I was sad about her leaving us as she was always there when I had concerns and cared for me very well.
I can safely say Rosie and her caring smiley personality made my experience with my last pregnancy a great one to remember. Although Rosie was my named midwife I met some others during my pregnancy and after I was discharged from paisley I ended up with sepsis and the Midwife’s who dealt with me again very caring and on the ball and although I had complained to Midwife’s previously of pain and fever symptoms, it was dismissed but oban and there amazing community Midwife’s picked up on my infection and thankfully I was sent down for a few days to paisley and was put on iv drips and I recovered. Thank you again to the two Midwife’s in Oban.
Also to the others who took my bloods over the pregnancy as I was not the easiest to get blood out of.
Thank you to Kathrine who was also great at looking after me during the time I was upset of the thought of having to deliver early and while my dictational diabetes was high. She has also been my midwife in past pregnancy and again I can only say a caring on the ball midwife.
Thank you so much oban maternity unit for my amazing care from start to finish and for keeping me and the girls safe and healthy XX
