"Not very Happy"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital / Accident and emergency

I attended A&E late Sat 20 April with my granddaughter (Adrenal crisis) the staff seemed to have little or no knowledge of the condition. They did not seem to take the situation serious and my granddaughter felt she was being treated like she was putting it all on. Adrenal crisis is a very serious condition and if not treated correctly can have very serious consequences . One of the effects is being unable to speak until the hydro has taken full effect something the staff failed to understand. I will also add that an adrenal crisis would be impossible to fake and to be made to think that is what you are doing is not only bad judgement but also very insulting. This was the second crisis she had that week the first one being in Chorley the treatment received there was by far better superior.
