I was sent to Ent at the LGI for nasal polyps retuning and very loud buzzing in the ears which is caused by the polyps. I saw a consultant who seemed to just wanted to see people quickly and get them out. He gave me some strong steroids to take and nasal spray then sighed me off.
I had to take a piece of paper to the doctor to do a prescription for but all in all it took 2 to 3 weeks to get as they could not read his writing and having problems getting hold of him to see what it was and the dosage. Now I have been re offered to Ent again for the same problem so I have to start again which is 15-18 weeks wait. I checked with the GP surgery and they sent it off the end of January 2019. they have not heard anything so they gave me a telephone number to ring where you hold on to talk to someone for hours at our expense.
ENT should not of discharged me as it is a recurring problem what to do.......
as I am in pain and it feels like I have red hot pokers in my ears.......
