"cataract surgery"

I have had 2 cataracts treated at Spa medica in Manchester.The 1st in February 2019 and I utilised the Spa medica free transport system.

This worked very well, the driver was most pleasant and reassuring and my fellow passengers were also encouraging.The operation went very well, the staff were exceedingly pleasant, however I was 1 hour later than my appointed time.

I was not informed of the delay and felt my stress levels increase as the delay continued. The operation was a success .My 2nd cataract was removed in April 2019 and to achieve the earliest possible date I used a taxi for transport. This time I asked about any delay for my appointment and was dismayed to learn that I would have an hour delay. I consider this to be non acceptable and did not receive a satisfactory explanation for the delay.

Again the staff were very pleasant and efficient and my operation seems to have been highly successful. The provision of drinks and biscuits proved helpful in view of the delay.
