"The care I received was exemplary"

About: Lorn & Islands Hospital / Maternity care Lorn & Islands Hospital / Physio

(as the patient),

The care I received at Lorn and Islands Hospital Maternity Unit both during and after my pregnancy was exemplary.  Staff were attentive, sensitive, professional and of course caring. The continuity of care was excellent and included new iniatives such as Attend Anywhere Clinic and care from a range of professionals including midwife, sonographer, consultant and physiotherapist. Due to the fantastic care and commitment from the team I was able to attend all appointments locally at my small Maternity Unit and avoid making a regular 200 mile round trip to a larger hospital to deal with a whole host of new and unfamiliar staff.

I struggle to find any points for improvement in my experience and I am extremely grateful to all involved.

Dear Oon79

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your positive experience of care in Oban during and after your pregnancy.

Great to read about how much you valued being able to receive your care locally.

I will make sure that your comments and gratitude are passed on to the range of professionals involved in your care.

With very best wishes to you and your family.

Kind regards

Fiona Campbell
