"Rude nurse in triage"

Went to urgent care Easter Monday as suspected my 2 year old daughter had a UTI. Arrived just after 10am and left just after 1 with no communication as to time it would take to be seen, which I suppose is what you expect. My main gripe was an exceptionally rude triage nurse. Bedside manner is not her strong point so would suggest if she doesn’t like working with patients who think they are unwell she should contemplate a career change. She was unwelcoming and it felt like you were an inconvenience in her day. No thought for an anxious parent worried about a toddler. When she asked for a urine sample from my toddler she gave me a tube to fill - despite the fact is just explained we are struggling to get her to go anywhere near a potty - how an earth do you expect me to get a urine sample in a tiny pot from a 2 year old in nappies! NHS website says you have special pads for very young children to go in their nappies - no offer of those just an attitude of what do you want me to do about it! I have to say the doctor was so lovely and the complete opposite of the triage nurse, he was wonderful with my daughter and put her at ease and showed care & attention to her. The few other occasions I have been to urgent care the paediatric staff have also been good, it’s not always their fault for the long wait.
