I was admitted in December for one week and had the worst service from the doctors ,the health care assistants and nurses were good .how my treatment was handled in the NHS was appalling .the tests that should have been done straight away were not done , I waited 5 days for scan and was in a lot pain.in the end I was discharged and given wrong diagnosis because they didn’t bother to test . After a few months I was given follow up appointments , one appointment I was told I could possibly have cancer but not confirmed , I was completely alone at the time and there was no sensitivity the way the doctor handled . No one explained to me my condition because the doctors knowledge was poor . In the end I transferred privately and got the correct treatment but after forking out thousands . I was transferred to a ward not related to my condition and I tried to use the toilet which was in a disgusting state and asked the nurse if someone was available to clean it and they told me to use it as it was or go to another ward and use .
Disappointed with the whole service and I pay tax but couldn’t get the correct treatment in nhs. Not everyone can afford private treatment . The standards for this hospital is very low . Doctors need training and experience correctly not just assume conditions without full history check .
"worst hospital experience ever"
