"Extremely long wait for appointment with any GP i"

Tried to get a standard non emergency appointment with any GP in any of the practises under the centralised service. I was offered one in a month’s time. This was the first appointment that was available. I am disgusted. The appointment was to review my son’s asthma. Rang to make a smear test appointment and was told to ring back next week and see if there were any available appointments, this is not the way to encourage women to attend a smear test.
