"Non-existent appointment"

About: Western General Hospital / General Medicine

(as a relative),

Took my Mum for an outpatient appointment this morning at the Western General only to find the clinic wasn’t even running today. The appointment letter said 19 April at 10. 30 but everything was shut when we got there and no one could offer us an explanation. What makes this more annoying and distressing is that this was a follow up appt after a diagnostic CT scan and my Mum was understandably anxious about the outcome.
