"My stay in Hospital"

About: Borders General Hospital / General Medicine Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as the patient),

Recently, I felt pain in my stomach & back, I was taken to BGH by ambulance, the ambulance crew were wonderful with me. I initially stayed in ward 6 then moved to ward 4, the nurses & doctors were professional until I left on 6 days later. I wish to thank all the staff who took care of me during my stay, although I really didn't like the blood tests at all.

Dear ChillinMalibu,

Thanks for getting in touch to let us know about your recent stay in the BGH. I'm so glad that you felt well cared for during your 6 days with us and apologise for our vampire like tendencies when it comes to blood tests!

I hope you are now recovering well in the sunshine - loving your choice of name and hope that it reflects your current state of relaxation!

With best wishes,

Lynn

Dear ChillinMalibu,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback on CareOpinion. I am sorry to read that you had reason to use our service and that of our Partners in NHS Borders. I hope that you are on the road to a full recovery.

I am however pleased that your experience of care received from our crew was described. Wonderful is very positive. It is lovely to read that the crews acted exactly in the manner we would expect them too.

I would like to wish you all the very best and thank you again for your kind words!

Alan
