About: Oaklands Hospital

I only stayed for 3nights following a knee replacement surgery.The standard of care from nursing/physio/catering and admin staff was second to none.Some reviews had criticized the food.You have to remember this is a hospital not a fine dining restaurant.The quality and choice was good served fresh by pleasent staff.My only complaint is the length of time taken to answer the phone (number 2in the que and 30 minutes later still number 2

I am pleased that your stay at Oaklands was a positive experience and I have passed your comments onto the staff.

We are aware that there has been an issue with our telephone system in that calls are not being routed appropriately or diverting to voice mail when a particular line is engaged.

This had been reviewed, however, problems were noted to be still occurring and we are about to undergo a full review by our telephone service provider.

I apologise for the delays encountered whilst you were trying to contact the hospital.
