"Awful triage at A and E no respect for basic..."

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was sent to A n E after a bone marrow biopsy that had started to bleed when I got home, once I got to A and E I was weak and very unwell. I had told the reception staff I had long standing Hematology illness and my blood doesn’t clot very well I wasn’t left to bleed for 35 mins dispite telling them o was bleeding a lot. I was told to go and find a nurse and tell them. I approached three different nurses none of whom wanted to even engage in a conversation with me. When one eventually came back and I went back to him he told me I’m not bleeding even tho I was drenched in blood and he further went on to tell me ITP wasn’t nice a problem ans that I wouldn’t be bleeding to death. I sat back down as I wasn’t told to. When I was finally seen by a nurse she was more concerned about going home sat me down in Truma unt and had not change do the dressing as she had said she would. Nothing was explained to me mean while I was still bleeding.it was 2 hours later I was seen by a a red uniform nurse and doctor and now only then did I receive treatment uproot to that I can only say my pet cat is and has been treated better at the vet than I wasn’t at the royal london A and E. Truly disgusting behaviour.
