"I had so much hope, and then left disappointed"

About: Royal Derby Hospital

I have been seen by a gastroenterologist a few times, and had a few tests done over the past 2 years. But I still have no diagnosis and have not been seen since August 2018 by my consultant. I am suffering so much every day and my life consists of lying in bed in pain. I have lost my job and my life because of this. I have other medical issues, one being severe depression and anxiety. The poor service I am receiving, and with having no diagnosis or an appointment since August 2018 is making me much worse. I actually don’t even know who I am any more. All I want is the help I should be receiving, and a gastroenterologist that doesn’t want to give up on me and leave me with no appointment for almost a year. I call up on a regular basis asking for an appointment and I just get told I will get a call back, which doesn’t happen. I am now looking at making a formal complaint, because my health has deteriorated rapidly and continues to every day.
