"Please pass on my thanks to the endoscopy department"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / General medicine

(as a service user),

I was so nervous - nearly didn’t attend.   The service I received was so excellent. I was greeted with a smile didn’t wait long before taken through.   Explained everything to me by a lovely nurse think her name was Ann - not sure sorry was too nervous then taken through after changing to Dr Bibby and another nurse too present. Dr Bibby was so kind. Explained everything and ensures I was comfortable at all times - told me what he was doing on screen all the time and at no time did I feel worried or concerned. I left within the hour feeling exhilarated to be worry free and thinking that our NHS is certainly worthy of a very big thank you.   Please pass on my thanks. I had intended to send a card to say just how good and appreciated this department is

Hi Fleury angel

Thank you so much for your lovely thank you about the team which I have shared with them and also Dr Bibby. We'll also make sure Ann sees your kind words.

All staff are aware that a visit to Endoscopy can cause patients concern due to the nature of the procedures that are undertaken. I know they always try their best to help alleviate these concerns by being caring and considerate. Our staff truly are amazing and the calmness is one way they show this (inside they may be worried for you but they are able to channel this and do what needs to be done!).

Take care and thank you again

Regards

Sharon
