"Swift, efficient care"

L&D A&E dept were amazing this evening. From reception, diagnosis, ex-ray and treatment I was in and out in an hour and 20 minutes. I really didn’t want to bother A&E so tried the appropriate channels first (NHS 111) who referred me to A&E in the end. The lovely lady on the reception desk, the Nurse and the kind chap who dressed my wounds were all fantastic. I work in the NHS myself at GP surgery level and this was my first ever visit to A&E and in a strange way it was a pleasure to meet my colleagues. They were fab and it was lovely to see the relationships and dynamics between all the staff in the dept. Keep up the good work! It’s tough on the coal face and you’re all doing a fab job!
