About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I attended the Labour Suite, Borders General Hospital, for the delivery of my daughter in March and had a few days stay on Ward 17 following the delivery. All the maternity staff where fantastic throughout. I was made to feel at ease and well cared for. I couldn't have asked for better care for all staff.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter. I appreciate how busy life will be for you and would like to thank you for your feed back about how your time was in the maternity unit. I shall share your kind comments with the staff as it is important to us that you felt comfortable and well cared for. Having a baby can be full of unfamiliar things and it is important that women and their families/friends feel at ease through this time.

Thank you for taking the time to send this feedback, having a baby is such a life changing event I'm so glad that you felt cared for and at ease whilst under our care in the Borders General Hospital. As my colleague Shona has said it matters very much to the staff to know that we got it right for you and your family and this has been shared amongst the team already!
