"Maternity Services"

About: Watford General Hospital / Maternity

I gave birth to my daughter on delivery suite and cannot fault the care. From speaking to triage over the phone, all the way through to discharge, I was treated with dignity and respect and at no point felt like I was being a nuisance. Every member of staff I came across, even those with no direct involvement in my care, were friendly and smiling. There was a brief and completely understandable delay in me going to theatre for some stitches (two other patients needing c-sections) and the staff couldn’t have been more apologietic, keeping me up to date at regular intervals. I was also impressed with how quickly I was seen by physio, the medical team and the support that was available to help with feeding advice. The discharge procedure was also very efficient. Thank you.

Congratulations! Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback, Terry. We are pleased to hear that every part of the delivery process was carried out with care and consideration by our dedicated team. We shall pass on your kind words.
