"Caring, empathic and inclusive staff"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I was admitted to ward the ward 3E Crosshouse recently. The staff on the ward are caring, empathic and inclusive to every patient in their care. Regardless of how busy staff are and the demands made on them, they are never too busy to talk and reassure me. Staff keep a sense of humour on the ward and always engage in jokes and chat with patients helping us to feel less anxious and at ease.

Dear hawkpr69,

Thanks for taking the time to feedback on care opinion. It is lovely to read your feedback and the importance of communication in keeping an upbeat outlook. It is great to hear that this helped you feel more relaxed and at ease at a difficult time.

The team will be deligted to read your feedback and I will ensure this is shared with them. I hope you are now feeling better and recovering well.

Best wishes,

Christine
