"I benefited hugely from the non-judgemental space"

About: Community mental health services / Recovery College

(as a service user),

I have been a student of the Recovery College and it has had such a positive impact on my life. The trainers were and so supportive and encouraging, they have lived experience of mental health issues and talk openly about their experiences in a way which made me feel able to talk about mine and face my issues head on.

I benefited hugely from being in a non-judgemental space, and being in classes with other people helped me regain a lot of the confidence I'd lost in the past year. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to attend, and now feel able to ask for help when I need it, as well as having the tools to manage my own care better moving forward.
