My son suffered injury at the local rugby club and was brought into A&E as a trauma. We was allowed to stay with him during the initial assessment we was fully involved during this, in being told what was happening and informed of the management plan. Everything was done very swiftly and very precise and I cannot fault the care that my son received at all. There was a registrar that stayed with him and a male nurse I'm sorry I can't remember there names (On shift 7/4/19 we came in around lunch time).
Within two hours my son had being assessed and had x-rays and had observations done numerous times and discharged.
I truly cannot fault the care or the friendliness of the staff upon arrive to being moved to Children's A&E. The whole traumatic experience was made so much more less stressful by these very kind and professional people a true credit to the NHS when people are to quick to moan and knock the NHS. Thank you to the team on shift 7/4/19 Thank you so much
