"Doctors and nurses were very helpful and quickly..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

What I liked

I was seen quickly and kept informed. Staff were lovely, helpful and looked after me. The doctor even took time to apologised for keeping me waiting for 40mins.

What could be improved

Reception lady who registers you into the minor injuries unit. I said NHS direct told me to come here... 'she replied they say that to everyone'. Her manor was rude and frosty.

We're glad that your experience of the QEII's A&E service was a good one and we hope that you continue to make a good recovery. In the meantime, point noted about reception staff - that first impression is vital and on this occasion, it would seem like she let her colleagues down.
