I have cancer and had an 11 hour operation three weeks ago. After the op community nurses were supposed to check me at home but only came once a week. When I went to surgery feeling ill they found some of my wound infected and set about treating it. They were so caring and cheered me up as I have been very down trying to cope. The part-time GP also came in to see me late on Friday and the tissue viability sister and Healthcare Assistant have seen me to check everything almost every other day. I want to thank them as I could have got sepsis which I also had at Christmas in the hospital. What a great team of people.
"Really caring and helpful"
