What I liked

After a very long and difficult struggle with various health issues I was referred from Lymington hospital by a surgeon to southampton general hospital, I had my appointment today for the first time with a consultant here (i do wish i could name him!) He was exceptional after such a long time and various gp's at my local practice not coming up with anything my consultant today has given me so much help, advice and hope i cannot thank him enough. I absolutely recommend anyone and everyone to the GI unit (level E) here especially if your gp hasn't been as helpful as we hope.

Forever greatful and for someone who doesn't really like hospitals I'm looking forward to my next appointment and stages of the treatments knowing i'm finally getting somewhere with an incredible and supportive consultant!
