"Appointments very hard to get."

I visited on March 4th because of high blood pressure 190/110. The doctor put me on a new drug and gave me a chart to take my own blood pressure for a week. He said he wanted to see me again in 2-3 weeks to review the sucess of the drug and wrote a note, to give the receptionis,t to get an appointment. She said there were no appointments until the end of April some 7 weeks away.

I said the doctor asked to see me but she still insisted no appointments until the end of April. I hope the medication is working o.k. because that is a ridiculous time to wait with such high blood pressure.
