"Thanks for Recent Excellent Care and Treatment."

This is to record my gratitude and thanks for the care and treatment I recently received at the RUH relevant to elective cardiac catheterisation and care in recovery in the Medical Therapies Unit. From assessment to recovery I was dealt with in a manner which was both professional and personable. Communication was most effective throughout, with evident motivation to listen and explain as required. I was both reassured and impressed that communicating with patients is given due priority alongside the application of the significant technical skills relevant to medical interventions. This clear culture of engaging with patients is to be valued as a core in defining how people receive treatment and associated support. Having now undergone two cardiac procedures almost a decade apart at the RUH, I am in an excellent position to assert that treating people with dignity and respect is clearly established at this hospital.
