"Bad experience at emergency A&E"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

The receptionist and nurse from emergency A&E treated us me and my son deaf badly and with not respect ever I told them we are deaf . We both left very upsetting of this badly experience with out see the doctor ever we was waiting for long hours . I think the staff of hospital they have to learn how to communicate with deaf people ! I will make sure from now on everyone to hear me out this was making me very upsetting and worry for my deaf son future and others deaf is a time to change as the staff ignore us deaf .

Dear Alina

Thank you for taking time to contact us with feedback. We are disappointed to learn that your experience failed to match the expectations you had of us.

We would like an opportunity to discuss your concerns in detail. Would you please contact our PALS team at Royal London so they can take further details to allow us to look into this further. Their email address is rlhpals@bartshealth.nhs.uk

We look forward to hearing from you

Kind regards

Faith
