"They don’t answer their phones"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

No one answers the telephone.

I was ringing the switchboard for nearly 2 hours continuously when my Mum was admitted from A & E.

It just rang unanswered.

I had to wait for Mum to phone me.

Fortunately, she was well enough to do that.
