"breaks, clots and cancer"

About: Frimley Park Hospital / Breast surgery

My husband is being treated for non hodgkins lymphoma, I fell and broke my ankle and leg and then got blood clots on my lungs,

My daughter has recently been attending for lumps in her breasts which were benign,

Wherever you go, whoever you see, the treatment is amazing.

From nurses who have time to care for you and doctors who make everything clear to understand.

What a wonderful place.

Sometimes you have to wait for your appointment, comfortable chairs, nice music or read a book.

The car park is a pain but all car parks are and if the money goes towards patient care, we should be happy to pay( well maybe not happy but at least accepting that the money is used well)

My leg is now good and my lungs are clear, my husband is still in remission and being cared for carefully.

A and E was a nightmare, not because of the staff, because of drunks verbally abusing the nurses, a teenager on drugs and screaming, an old lady with dementia refusing to stay where she was put and all of this was dealt with by quiet speaking nurses, young doctors and at one point( the drunk) security staff.

When will we start to charge those who self abuse and then expect to be saved, week after week?

My heart goes out to all the NHS workers, underpaid, undervalued and so hard working.

Keep it up please.

Dear Tina

I can not tell you how I felt reading this comment, you and your family have been through so much! you fully understand the issues we have in the NHS especially in ED and waiting for appointments but it is free for all, The NHS is an amazing institution and I am so grateful you understand it warts and all! Thank you!! I wish you and your family good health going forward.

regards
