I fetched my 5 year old son to A&E with a suspected broken arm. The nurse assessed him and took him straight round to see the doctors. The department was very busy but he was seen very quickly. He’d broke his elbow and needed surgery to manipulate it back in to place and fix it with k wires so we stayed on ward 2 and went down for surgery the next morning. All the staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and caring explained what was happening making sure he wasn’t in pain. They made our stay so much easier. Thank you so much to everyone that cared for him in A&E, ward 2 the porters, x-ray and everyone in the theatre team.
"Excellent care from all staff"
