What I liked

I recently was a patient on the day case surgical unit and the whole experience from admission to discharge was faultless. The staff in the day care unit and theatre were professional, courteous and attentive throughout the day and couldn't have been more helpful. I was fully prepared for surgery and received good explanations about what to expect with additional easy to understand written information when I was discharged.

Anything else?

Staff took the time to talk and listen to all patients and attend to their needs. I was well cared for throughout the day. There was a happy and positive atmosphere both in the day care unit and theatre and the staff were happy in their work.
