"Visit for Diagnostic Radiology Procedure"

About: Cumberland Centre

Upon being called into the X-ray room I was told to strip off from waist up, there was no modesty gown given and when told to lie on the bed on my side found the uncovered bed really smelt badly of body odour, this kind of thing should be addressed as we are very aware of infection caused by body fluids. The radiologist was very kind but could not seem to understand that the position she laid me in with my neck and head off the bed caused me great pain, I did explain I had a prolapsed disc, last year when I had the same procedure the radiologist did not insist that my head shoulder and neck should be off the bed.

I asked for her to copy me into the summary of her findings which she refused to do. (last year I requested and received a copy of the diagnostic report) this is something which should be discussed with the radiographers.

All in all I did not have a carefree visit.
