"Terrible surgery"

About: Lodge Surgery

I've never been so shocked in all my. Life with this surgery been going there since I was 7 years old and it's just gone downhill so badly, I went in about a week ago with a few issues and the doctors seemed bored and couldn't be bothered with her job she just was rude and wanted me out the room didn't bother asking about symptoms but prescribed me a cream that I've already tried and it didn't work

About a week later my 2 year old daughter was very ill temperature of 39 she wasn't right I called 111 and the told me the doctors need to make a urgent appointment within the next hour so when I called the gp she told me she hasn't got any emergency appointment and I have to call back tomorrow or the next day as they were fully booked she then continued to tell me well I should just go Watford A&E or hemel urgent care which was a 4-5 hour wait 2-3 hour with a urgent problem. I was so shocked how rude and horrible this doctors surgery is now and I will be moving me and my daughter this week as the are useless I've been ill for 3 months and they will not help me in any way (there is more important people to be seen then a 17 week pregnant woman who has been very ill for 3 months)

I'm disgusted in this surgery

Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on NHS choices.

I am sorry that you did not feel listened to and that we could not offer your daughter an appointment. We do aim to keep emergency appointments back for this type of consultation but we can only offer a fixed amount of appointments on a daily basis and, as I am sure you are aware, there is a huge demand for GP appointments as there is at A&E hence the long delays to be seen there too.

If at any time you are unhappy whilst in the practice or on the telephone you can ask for our Deputy Practice Managers to call you back. We find that we are able to work with our patients in these instances as it is very hard to comment on an anonymous post that we cannot look into.

If you do wish to make contact again to Lodgesurgery@nhs.net we can try to help you again

Kind regards

Caroline Braxton

Business Practice Manager
